Gary attended Notre Dame High School, West Haven, CT, graduating in 1969. He served in the U.S. Navy in a Mine Sweeping Flotilla at the Charleston, South Carolina Naval Base. In 1970, he was assigned to a naval operation in the Mediterranean.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Gary started his banking career with First Federal Savings and Loan Association of New Haven as a Teller. By 1993, his aptitude and initiative led him to the role of Chief Lending Officer with Shelton Savings Bank.
During his time in the Savings and Loan industry, Gary also served as a National Director for The Institute of Financial Education, which specializes in bank training.
Gary joined CIC in 2000 as a Microloan Officer, and now serves as our senior SBA 504 Loan Officer. His extensive lending experience is a highly valued asset for CIC, our clients, and our banking partners.
Gary’s father found him a wife and they just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in May 2013.
His passion is traveling and he is trying to talk his wife into retiring in Amsterdam.
He is the worst golfer in the world.
